Zikz joins Evil Geniuses coaching staff

North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has completed its VALORANT coaching staff by signing with Zikz. The 29-year-old American specialist joins the team as an assistant head coach, moving from a similar position at NRG.

We are happy to announce the arrival of Zikz as our new assistant coach! He used to crush in the LCS and now he brings that winning spirit to make our VALORANT roster a little more evil.

Zikz has made a name for himself in League of Legends, where he has worked with Counter Logic Gaming, TSM and 100 Thieves over the years. Here, the American specialist achieved some success, in particular, playing in the 2015 World Championship and 2016 World Championship, as well as getting into the TOP-2 at the Mid-Season Invitational 2016.

However, in early 2022, Zikz decided to move to VALORANT to join the NRG coaching staff. Together with the team, the 29-year-old American did a great job finishing fourth at the 2022 VCT: North America Stage 2 Challengers. However, he didn't manage to stick around with the roster, which went through a lot of changes in the off-season.

The Evil Geniuses organization was included in the final list of partners for the American League. This means that the club will play in the same ecosystem along with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, NRG Esports, Leviatán Esports, FURIA, LOUD, KRÜ Esports and MIBR.

The new roster is expected to debut at the VCT 2023: Kickoff Tournament, which will take place early next year in Brazil.
