eMIL is the new head coach of Team Liquid

European esports organization Team Liquid has announced the appointment of eMIL as the head coach of the VALORANT roster. In this position, the 27-year-old Swedish specialist will replace Sliggy, who has been with the team since its formation in August 2020.

Today we officially part ways with Sliggy, one of the founding members of our VALORANT team. Connor, thanks to your experience, we have created one of the best VALORANT teams in the world. We will always be grateful for your guidance and support. Thank you for the memories!

Sliggy took over Team Liquid in the summer of 2020 when the European club signed the fish123 roster. In two years, the British specialist helped the team win VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier and Red Bull Home Ground 2, as well as get into the top three at Allied Esports Odyssey,Red Bull Home Ground 1, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 and VALORANT Champions 2021.

In addition, together with the former coach, the team took fourth place in the VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, and also made it to the playoffs of VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík.

However, for the past six months, eMIL has been working with the Guild X women's team, with whom they took second place at VCT 2022: Game Changers EMEA Series 1, Birds of Prey - Episode 3 and VCT 2022: Game Changers EMEA Series 2.
