Team Heretics и Giants Gaming приглашены на VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1

Organizers Riot Games and LVP have unveiled the list of invited teams for VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1. The tournament, which will be held online from February 15 to mid-March, will feature some of the best teams, including Team Heretics and Giants Gaming.

Despite the fact that the Spanish VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 covers only three countries, the series is the largest among all other European leagues. While most leagues have eight teams, the championship will feature ten teams, each with a different number of players from three eligible countries: Spain, Portugal and Italy.

VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 will start with a group stage that will be played in a group format. From here, the top six teams will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete for one ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Promotion Tournament.

Of the nine invited organizations, two do not currently have a membership as such. While BISONS ECLUB has yet to announce their entry into the scene, Arctic Gaming has decided not to renew their team's contract for the new season, promising to reveal their future at the end of January.

The current line-up for VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 is as follows: UCAM Esports Club, Movistar Riders, Team Queso, KOI, BISONS ECLUB, Team Heretics, Rebels Gaming, Giants Gaming and Arctic Gaming.

The last participant of the championship will be determined based on the results of the closed qualification, which will be held from January 28 to 31.

VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 will take place from February 15 to mid-March online. Ten teams from Spain, Italy and Portugal will compete for one ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Promotion Tournament and compete for a prize pool of €20,000.
