Shaquille O'Neill showed how the new NRG Esports Rocket League kits will look like
NRG Esports showed in an unusual way how the new rocket league roster form will look like. They presented the new uniform with the help of Shaquille O'Neill, who was photographed in it. At the same time, representatives of the club announced a new competition, the winners of which will be able to take the main reward in the form of a new copy of a T-shirt autographed by the basketball legend.
Notably, the design of the t-shirt has been updated as a result of a collaboration between esports club NRG Esports and car insurance company The General. We remind you that earlier NRG Esports sold the rights to use their tag in the Rocket League to the above-named company, as a result of which the players now act under the name The General NRG. In addition, NRG Esports' Rocket League branding colors have been changed. The parties to the transaction did not disclose the financial details of the contract, but representatives of SBJ Esports report that such an advertising campaign from The General could cost auto insurers in six figures, since such cooperation should be multi-year.
Shaquille O'Neill is known for his involvement in the esports world after becoming a major investor in the esports organization NRG Esports in 2016. At that time, NRG owned two esports rosters, one of which was for CS: GO, and the other for League of Legends.
