Tadpole is ending his esports career
Tadpole has announced his retirement from professional esports. The 24-year-old player from Wales announced this on his Twitter, adding that he was ready to consider offers for the position of coach or manager.
Retiring from the professional Rocket League, but open to offers as a coach and team manager, also open to other opportunities in eSports. Today I announce my retirement as a professional player after 5 years of semi-pro and pro play. The Commonwealth Games in Wales will be my last official tournament.
Overall, the RLCS XI season was unspeakably disappointing, and I sincerely believed that Wolves Esports could be the revival my career needed, instead it turned into a constant spiral of disappointing results. I have always said that when I am done competing I would love the opportunity to coach in Rocket League, over 5 years of playing I have gained a wealth of knowledge that I believe I can use to be successful like so many other former players. currently coaches teams at TIER-1 level.
I will also be looking into opportunities to work with organizations that would like to join Rocket League in the near future or in the future.
