Collegiate Rocket League 2022 Spectator Guide - World Championship

Today, June 3, the Collegiate Rocket League 2022 - World Championship will start. Over the next three days, 16 student teams will determine the strongest, playing for a total prize pool of $75,000. Format of the Collegiate Rocket League 2022 - World Championship

The championship will be held in two stages:

• Group stage (June 3-4).
• Playoffs (June 5).

As part of the group stage, sixteen participants are divided into four groups (four teams each). The top two teams from each quartet will advance to the playoffs. All group stage matches will be played in BO5 format.

Group A:

• KIT SC Lawnmowers (Europe).
• Northwood University Blue (North America).
• Salford Lions (Europe).
• St. Clair Saints Gold (North America).

Group B:

• Penn State University (North America).
• Portsmouth Paladins (Europe).
• University of Nevada, Las Vegas (North America).
• University of Texas - Arlington (North America).

Group C:

• Columbia College (North America).
• Hamburger Haie Ahoi Bois (Europe).
• Keele Krakens (Europe).
• Valleyfield College (North America).

Group D:

• Berlin Phoenix (Europe).
• Oakland University (North America).
• Stockton University (North America).
• University of Central Florida (North America).

The Collegiate Rocket League 2022 - World Championship playoffs will offer participants a single elimination bracket. The quarter-finals of the tournament will be played in BO5 format, while the semi-finals and grand finals will be played in BO7 format.

• 2nd place: $11,350
• 3rd-4th place: $6,375
• 5th-8th place: $3,750
• 9th-12th place: $2,250
• 13th-16th place: $1,725

The Collegiate Rocket League 2022 - World Championship will take place June 3-5 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. 16 student teams from North America and Europe will compete for a prize pool of $75,000.
