Dire Wolves sign Overwatch roster

The leadership of the eSports organization Dire Wolves announced the signing of the Overwatch roster. It included the likes of Kurt 'Naahmie' Pedersen, Kelsey 'Colourhex' Beers, Jax 'Jkap' Lutter, Riley 'cuFFa' Brown, Ben 'Atlas' Carter and Luca 'lab' Baricello.

Of all the players, Kurt 'naahmie' Pedersen stands out the most, having earned over $20,000 in prize money over a 3-year career. The esportsman has three victories at such events as Overwatch Contenders 2020 Season 2: Australia, Overwatch Contenders 2021 Season 1: Australia and Overwatch Contenders 2021 Season 2: Australia.

The debut of the team under the new tag began as part of the Overwatch Contenders 2022 Summer Series: Australia/New Zealand A-Sides, a championship with a prize pool of $25,000. Now the team is playing in the match against Mindfreak. The team is fighting for a place in the final.

Overwatch Contenders 2022 Summer Series: Australia/New Zealand A-Sides runs August 3-4. The total prize fund of the tournament is $25,000. The winner, runner-up and bronze medalist will receive $8,750, $4,750 and $3,000 respectively. In addition to Dire Woves, the event is attended by such teams as Mindfreak, Ground Zero Gaming, WILL BE, Huntsman Esports, Unsold Stuff Gaming, Kitbash and Expedition CrusaderS. WILL BE, Huntsman Esports, Expedition CrusaderS and Ground Zero Gaming have already completed their journey in this tournament and have earned $1,250-$1,750 cash prizes.
