Village, RE: Verse and Maiden release date - revealed at the Resident Evil: Showcase launch

On the night of January 22, the presentation of Resident Evil: Showcase from Capcom ended. If for some reason you missed this event, then this material will be useful to you.

It's worth starting with the release date of the next Resident Evil. Ethan Winter's story will continue on May 7 this year, and at once on all platforms, including consoles of the previous generation.

A special demo called Maiden is already available for PlayStation 5 owners. Players on other platforms will also be given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Village, but a little later.

Also fresh gameplay of the future part was shown. The six-minute video showed the plot with getting into the Castle and meeting with a very memorable and charismatic person - Lady Dimitrescu.

As part of the show, the same multiplayer in the RE universe was announced. It was named RE: Verse and looks like a regular death-match shooter.

Not without a new crossover. This time, Capcom is teaming up with Ubisoft to bring fresh content to The Division 2.
