The "Arena" mode in the game League of Legends will make a comeback in patch 13.24
Riot Games has announced the return of the "Arena" mode in League of Legends. It will appear on the test server in November and be available in the main client in December.
This mode has undergone significant changes, and upon its return, player ratings will be reset. Players can now queue in groups of two or four, and also form full lobbies of eight players. In the latter case, the match will resemble "Your Game," but players will still earn rating points.

The mode will also introduce 60 new augmentations, with a limit of two copies of each in a single game. Characters can now resurrect allies once per round by standing on their fallen teammate's body.
Changes have also been made to the rules of the safe zone. The fiery circle will now select a random point from several options on each arena, instead of constantly shifting towards the center.
Among the special champions in the mode, Sett, Pyke, and Gwen will remain, while Sylas and Thresh will be newcomers. Sylas will have the ability to swap one summoner spell for a random ultimate at the start of the round, and Thresh will leave a lantern after using Chain Guard, aiding in dashing and providing a shield.
The full version of the updated "Arena" mode will be released in patch 13.24 scheduled for December 6. However, the mode will be available for a limited time and is likely to be removed after the New Year holidays, closer to mid-January 2024.
