Riot Games showed how the interface will be redesigned in League of Legends

In the new League of Legends Ranked Season, the interface and many customization elements and menus will be changed. The developers talked about this in the official blog on the game's website.

League of Legends will now have a Challenge System for all players that will provide users with additional difficulties to acquire new unique achievements in the game. For these achievements, a special separate tab will appear in the game. There, players will have access to different tasks in different modes. Each card will have a rank from "Iron" to "Challenger", and this rank will change through the completion of new quests.

Challenges will be divided into six categories: Imagination, Knowledge, Inspiration, Strategy and Teamwork, Jack of All Trades, Collectibles, and Archived Achievements. Quests in these categories will be different, and for each completed task you will be able to receive different ranks and tokens.

The player's personal profile, as well as the League of Legends lobby and loading screen, will show progress in each of the challenge categories. To do this, special icons of tokens and crystals will be shown, when you hover over which all the details of the achievements will pop up. Ranks will be displayed under the name of the players.

For the post-match stats screen, Riot Games has highlighted a new tab that will now show all changes to Challenges, Rank Points, Mastery, XP, and Eternals' stat counters.

League of Legends players will be able to check out the updates on the test server on the night of November 16-17. The functionality will be actively tested by developers prior to patch 12.1. The latter should be released early next year. In the initial update, Riot Games will add some of the features listed above in this article to the game. All innovations will appear in the game a little later.

Tomorrow comes the end of the current ranked season, in which users can unlock the Victorious Blitzcrank skin. To do this, they need to reach the rank of "Gold" or higher.
