OpTic Gaming and Spacestation Gaming to Host Two Halo Tournaments Ahead of the Season

North American esports organizations OpTic Gaming and Spacestation Gaming are hosting two Halo Championships ahead of the Halo Championship Series Kickoff Major in February 2023. OpTic Gaming will host the Invitational at Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas. In turn, Spacestation Gaming is organizing a "unique online event".

Information about the invited participants and the size of the prize fund has not yet been disclosed.

OpTic Gaming became the winner of Halo World Championship 2022 .

Hosted by Spacestation Gaming, HCS Spartan Snowdown will kick off the HCS 2023 campaign. The event will reportedly feature new game modes created in Halo's Forge. The championship itself will be held from 13 to 14 January.

In addition to the organization's events, HCS confirms that the second competitive season will kick off with the Kickoff Major, which will be held in Charlotte, NC February 24-26, 2023. Online qualifiers for the Major will also begin in January and February.
