Students of University of Utah will get special scholarship for esportsmen

University of Utah made an assumption that the time to introduce a special scholarship for esportsman has come. The esportsmen who will protect the honor of their University will get a special scholarship. Currently, the management of the organization still considers this possibility and gives no guarantees that they will really be able to give scholarships. However, one of the universities told that they are planning to create their own League of Legends team to participant in Riot Games tournaments from educational organizations. It should be mentioned that this university is the first one among the biggest USA educational organizations that decided to introduce a special scholarship system for the gamers. A.J. Dimick, who is the manager of esports initiative thinks that other universities should also follow the decision of this Universities of Utah. The management plans to expand their esports abilities in the university. For example, the number of disciplines may grow. Due to this, the universities may earn money on marketing and sponsorship contracts. That will help to provide 35 gamers with esports scholarship. At the beginning of the project, the students will be financed partly. The educational organizations of USA support esports more and more. On the territory of Californian University campus, the arena for esports event was built. Except for that, in 2017 USA television broadcasted esports championships of different educational organizations.
