The return was about the plague - the authors of A Plague Tale announced a new part with the subtitle Requiem

Asobo has partnered with Focus Home Interactive to release A Plague Tale: Requiem. The sequel was announced as part of the last presentation by Microsoft at E3.

The first and so far the only part of A Plague Tale was released in May 2019. The title is a third-person adventure game. Stealth elements are closely interwoven into it, and the main characters of A Plague Tale are brother and sister Amicia and Hugo. They are going through the times of the Edwardian War and the plague epidemic in 1348-1349. The children became orphans, as the rest of the influential French family were killed by church officials.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is due out in 2022 and, as mentioned earlier, directly continue the story of Hugo and Amicia. It is noteworthy that the game will be available to all Xbox Game Pass owners from the moment of release.
