CD Projekt RED management can leave office?
The head of the studio, Adam Kiciński, and his deputy, Marcin Iwinski, may leave their positions. This is demanded by the investors of CD Projekt RED, who were unhappy with the results of the release of Cyberpunk 2077. The failure of the game entailed serious financial consequences that caused large losses to investors.
The Bloomberg portal reports that representatives of Abri Advisors were the main instigators of the riot. They first of all expressed their dissatisfaction with the decisions made by the management in the last year, and also pointed to the clear blunders that were made by Kicinsky and Ivinsky during the development of Cyberpunk 2077. If CD Projekt RED defends their leadership, then Abri Advisors will turn to to other investors in order to offer replacement members of the studio's board of directors.

Since the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the value of CD Projekt RED shares has decreased by 57%, which is $ 6,000,000,000. The main reason for this fiasco was the gaming industry's overstated expectations of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt RED had an excellent advertising campaign and were able to attract a lot of attention towards the project, but at the start it became known that the title was in a very raw state. The game was released last December on all current platforms and looked so bad on PlayStation 4 that it was removed from the PS Store, but left in the Microsoft Store. Also, many players demanded a refund for this product, and after a short time the game received big discounts in order to attract more users to the title. Bug fixes are underway to this day. Cyberpunk 2077 is already closer to its return to stores from the PlayStation, but it is still not as close as players would like it to be.
In addition to the unsatisfactory technical state of the game, the decline in shares was also influenced by the publication of plans regarding a change in policy in the field of game development from CD Projekt RED.
As for further actions, Abri Advisors are not going to limit themselves to one change of leadership. They are interested in how CD Projekt RED will restore its reputation after such an incident. Abri Advisors want to reassemble the board of directors, but this requires consent from the owners of 60% of the shares. Such a goal seems almost impossible, since Adam Kiciński and his younger brother Michał Kiciński own 34% of the shares of the entire company.
Earlier, we talked about the fact that CD Projekt RED continues to work on the game and want to implement the multiplayer, which was promised at the development stage.
