VR version of System Shock 2 will be released

Nightdive Studios, in charge of the reissue of System Shock 2, has revealed the details of the VR version of the game. Looking ahead, it is worth noting that there will be no early exit.

The authors of the VR version are focused as much as possible on the quality of the product, and therefore want System Shock 2 to be a full-fledged VR game. Also, Nightdive Studios does not hide that the development is inspired by Half-Life: Alyx, which, according to experts, has become the benchmark for games in virtual reality.

The multiplayer in the VR version deserves a separate mention. The developers want to introduce not just cooperative, but also cross-platform, allowing players to play together regardless of the headset.

As for the release date, it is still extremely vague. It is only reported that the version for virtual reality will be released later than the re-release of System Shock 2.
