Admiring perky action in the new trailer for Black Myth: Wu Kong

Developers from the Chinese indie studio Game Science decided to remind the community about their upcoming project. The team unveiled a trailer for the very ambitious Black Myth: Wu Kong.

The video demonstrates the abilities of the Monkey King in all its glory. He can turn into a mountain of skeletons in order to avoid damage, as well as use magic skills to stun opponents, among which there are mutant rats.

However, the actual gameplay may look slightly different. The video was released in honor of the celebration of the year of the bull in China, and therefore some elements from the video in the final form may differ from what you see.

The game itself is being developed based on the novel "Journey to the West", the main character of which is the king of the monkeys. The game was announced in August 2020, but there are no approximate release dates for the project yet.
