Among Us gains popularity 2 years after release

Two years later, Among Us, not without the help of well-known streamers, began to gain great popularity on Steam. The game's peak audience recently surpassed 388,000. Yesterday, an unusual project made it into the top 3 online games, second only to Dota 2 and CS: GO.

After the famous streamers Kaif and Sodapoppin started playing Among Us, more and more people started coming in the latter. The developers of the game already wanted to close their project due to non-repayment, but now everything has changed. They even had to update servers that were not ready for such a success.

Among Us is a space game about social deduction. In it, two teams oppose each other: the ship's crew and the traitors. The total number of players can be from 4 to 10 people. Depending on the number of players in the game, from 1 to 3 traitors appear, who will have to confuse civilians. Representatives of crew members will need to complete tasks or press the alarm button, summon all crew members and calculate the traitor. Traitors will have to prevent players from completing goals, sabotage by hiding in vents, performing ambushes and killing players. By the way, they can also report on bodies, call everyone and thus mingle with the crowd.

The game was released in June 2018 on both computers and mobile devices. Users rated the game well, giving it 7.4 points out of 10 possible.
