Next week, the Ryu Ga Gotoku studio, the developers of the game Like a Dragon, will be hosting an event to showcase their new product

The RGG Summit Fall 2023 event is scheduled for September 19th at 8:00 PM Pacific Time/ 11:00 PM Eastern Time (September 20th at 4:00 AM British Summer Time/ 5:00 AM Central European Summer Time).

The presentation will be available for viewing on Sega's Twitch and YouTube channels.

During last September's RGG Summit Fall 2022, two games from the Like a Dragon series were announced.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a narrative side quest that sheds light on the events related to Kiryu Kazama after the conclusion of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and leads up to the events of Like a Dragon 8.

This adventure game is set to be released on November 9, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

The next main installment in the series, Like A Dragon 8, is expected to arrive in 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will feature Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga as dual protagonists and serves as a turn-based RPG sequel to the 2020 release Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
