Roblox intends to start conducting interviews with prospective candidates directly within the Roblox platform
Roblox has announced its intention to conduct a portion of future interviews directly on the Roblox platform.
For this purpose, Roblox has launched the Roblox Career Center - a "3D immersive experience where you can learn about Roblox on Roblox."
Безкоштовні дорогоцінні камені, а також щоденні, щотижневі та щомісячні бонуси!
According to a recent blog post by Jason Bass, the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, the Career Center provides "candidates with entry-level experience" the opportunity to understand what it's like to work at Roblox by using the product itself.
This experience is targeted towards users who are just starting their professional journey. It will appeal to those who may have played Roblox during their childhood (because they're familiar with the interface and visual aspects of the company's work) as well as those who have never used Roblox before (as it allows them to try out the product).
The Career Center includes various rooms, including the Innovation Lab, where, as Bass explains, "they can learn about our innovative product development plan and hear stories directly from our employees."
There's also a Podcast Lounge, where you can listen to Roblox Tech Talks podcasts, as well as a library with materials to prepare for interviews, and a room designed for practicing tasks that will be presented in real interviews.
"Very soon," says Bass, "we'll be inviting candidates to conduct specific initial interviews right within this experience."
Explaining the reason behind creating the Career Center, Bass states: "While traditional personal recruitment through active outreach is ideal in terms of engagement, it has its limitations. There is a limited number of universities and potential candidates that our recruiting team can meet in person.
"Roblox Career Center allows us to attract entry-level professionals from around the world - eliminating geographical constraints from the hiring process and avoiding the drawbacks of static methods like web pages and video conferences."
