Starship Troopers Extermination will be available in early access on PC during this month

Offworld Industries developers have announced the upcoming release of Starship Troopers: Extermination, a cooperative shooter set in the universe of "Starship Troopers". The game will be available in early access on PC starting from May 17th, priced at $25. The developers have noted that the price will increase with the addition of new content leading up to the full release.

Based on Robert Heinlein's original novel and Paul Verhoeven's film adaptation, Starship Troopers: Extermination puts players in the middle of the Interstellar War between humans and the insectoid species known as "bugs". In early access, players can engage in active combat and build bases that serve as safe havens for regeneration, regrouping, and rearming.

Starship Troopers: Extermination supports up to 16 players, three classes (Assault, Support, and Defense), a progression system with new weapons, equipment, and abilities, five unique bug types, and massive battles on a huge map with five distinct zones.
