Assassin's Creed Red in danger? Employees leave because of the game director
Anonymous Ubisoft employees told some sources that they left the studio developing Assassin's Creed Red due to the unacceptable behavior of game director Jonathan Dumont.
According to them, Dumont behaves too toxic and regularly insults Ubisoft employees. Because of this, in the choice between leaving the company and continuing to work under Jonathan, many employees choose to leave Ubisoft.

Previously, the group A Better Ubisoft was formed, which is engaged in the struggle for a better atmosphere in the workplace. Representatives of this community confirm the rumors and report that Jonathan Dumont is really far from the concept of a “good boss”.
By many accounts, Assassin's Creed Red's game director creates a "fear atmosphere" in the development studio that makes working on the game difficult, and sometimes nearly impossible.
This has been going on for quite some time, and even after several years, Ubisoft, who are aware of the problem in the studio, does not deal with the situation in any way. Although the situation has become somewhat bearable after a major scandal that occurred in 2020, many employees still prefer to leave the studio instead of working with Dumont.
The game director of Assassin's Creed Red has previously worked on projects such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Now he is working on a title that will take place in the setting of feudal Japan.
Based on the foregoing, development on Assassin's Creed Red may be difficult due to problems within the studio, and the game should be released on all current consoles in 2024.
