In 2006 the final of one of the major CS:GO tournaments, shgOpen was held. The prize pool was $64,320, and the main money reward was $15,980. The winner of the championship was the team NoA, which won over Fnatic.

On 19 February 2017, Vitrus.pro became the winner of DreamHack Las Vegas 2017. The prize pool of the championship was $450,000, and Virtus.pro, who gained the cup that day, got the main money reward of $200,000.
