Unusual advertising - Horizon Forbidden West marketers worked with the Kiev metro

In the center of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, between the Khreshchatyk and Independence Square metro stations, a large graffiti appeared depicting the main character of Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy, and various robots that will confront her. Thus, marketers decided to conduct an unusual campaign and attract the attention of millions of residents of Kiev.

Horizon Forbidden West tells the story of a highly unusual variation of the apocalypse. If in many works of fiction, affected by the struggle of mankind with artificial intelligence, humanity always wins, then in the world of Horizon, robots have won. Players take control of a huntress, Aloy, who goes up against war machines and tries to improve in the game world. The title is an open world game with all the consequences: towers, gathering, character improvement, discovery of new items and more. Horizon Zero Dawn received good reviews, with the PlayStation 4 version scoring 89 out of 100, while the PC version scored 85. The expectations of critics and players regarding the sequel are not too clear. Someone thinks that in an open world game about mechanical animals, making something truly new is a rather difficult task. Others expect a lot of innovation from the game and look forward to a new creation from Guerilla Games.

It will be possible to evaluate Horizon Forbidden West and understand which of the above two camps turned out to be right on February 18 - it is on this date that the game is planned to be released. The title was originally supposed to be released in 2021, but the release had to be delayed until 2022. The game will be a Sony console exclusive for now and visit the Sony PlayStation 4 and 5. Horizon Zero Dawn was ported to PC 3 years after the game's release.
