Release S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is officially postponed to December 8, 2022

After rumors of the postponement and further denial from the development team, GSC Game World nevertheless made an official announcement about the postponement of the game's release.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is a direct sequel to the series of survival games in the Zone. GSC claims that Stalker 2 is their largest and most demanding project in the company's history. In order for the game to be smooth at the start of the release, they need an additional 7 months to implement ideas and bring them to mind.

In general, for the gaming industry, the release date shift is not new, but rather the opposite - expected. Especially when it comes to large projects. Fans should be patient and judge the developers not for the postponement of the date, but for the final gaming experience from the project.
