Heroes of Newerth officially ceases to exist

Heroes of Newerth will soon cease to exist. The official Facebook page announced the closure of the project, which existed for more than ten years - Heroes of Newerth was born on May 12, 2010. The team expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who was involved in the development of the project, created special memories with them, moved HoN forward and created a lot of unforgettable stories for HoN, and also made Heroes of Newerth one of the most popular MOBA games in history.

Schedule of project closure stages:

• December 13, 2021 - the purchase of gold coins is disabled.
• December 31, 2021 - new accounts cannot be created.
• June 20, 2022 - closure of servers, they begin to curtail activities on all official platforms for communication with the community.

In addition, before Heroes of Newerth ceases to exist, the MOBA developers will hold special events that will increase the chance of chests and silver getting dropped.

Heroes of Newerth is a MOBA game that began testing in 2008 and fully launched in 2010. It is considered one of the first standalone non-mod-based MOBA games.
