Hacked - Twitch Confirmed Hacker Attack

On their Twitter account, Twitch representatives reported that they were recently hacked. According to management, the potential damage at the hands of attackers is still being evaluated to determine the scale of the attack. The Twitch team is currently in a tense state and is working in emergency mode.

On October 6, there was information about a data leak from Twitch. The source code of the streaming platform and other information that is not intended for the circle of uninitiated persons has appeared in the free access. More than 125 GB of corporate information leaked to the Internet. The attacker who posted the data post said he had more information.

The hackers also found out the amount of streamers' earnings, which was determined from some Twitch documents that date from August 2019 to October 2021.
