Xbox Gamers Face Frustration as EA Investigates Online Match Start Issues in EA Sports FC 24

If you're an Xbox gamer and have encountered difficulties initiating online matches in EA Sports FC 24 recently, you're not alone in facing these issues.

EA's official communication account for the game has tweeted that they are currently investigating reports from players on Microsoft platforms who have been receiving error messages when trying to start online matches. They have promised to provide updates as soon as they are available. The Xbox support account has also shared a similar message.

As of the time of writing, it appears that the problems are still under investigation, leading to frustration among numerous players who have taken to social media to express their discontent. According to some of these players, the issues arise when they initiate a search for an online match.

At this stage, players have reported receiving a message along the lines of "Your opponent has left the match," even though no match has actually commenced, as demonstrated in a video clip circulating online.

Several Reddit and Twitter users have stated that this issue has also resulted in an undesired addition to their in-game club record, which has understandably caused displeasure. One Reddit user mentioned that it merely adds a loss to the club record. Notably, records associated with drafts and FUT Champions appear to remain unaffected, which means that players are not prematurely exiting these competitions due to matches that haven't even taken place.

However, some players are demanding some form of compensation for the apparent tarnishing of their hard-earned win/loss statistics. This request is understandable, as many players invest considerable effort in maintaining a favorable win-loss ratio as they accumulate match victories.
