Galaxy Racer and eLaLiga Santander Announce FIFA 22 Tournament Series

Esports organization Galaxy Racer has announced a partnership with eLaLiga Santander, the esports subsidiary of Spanish football LaLiga. The partnership will feature the FIFA 22 "Beat the Best" series of tournaments in which amateur players compete against regional footballers.

Amateur and professional players from 13 countries will take part in the new series of tournaments. These include Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, South Korea, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Russia, Australia, Japan, and Indonesia. Players will compete in online tournaments, and the best players will have the opportunity to play against the players for additional prizes.

The new tournament is the first to be organized as part of a three-year deal signed between LaLiga and Galaxy Racer in August 2021. According to a press release, the partnership aims to create new original episodes and produce exclusive content with professional LaLiga players.
