Dignitas Names Zytara Labs Official Partner

North American esports organization Dignitas has named Zytara Labs as its Official Digital Gaming Cards and NFT Partner.

A multi-year partnership agreement will allow Zytara Labs to create the Dignitas NFT series of collections and play cards using the DigitalBits protocol. Zytara will launch its NFT platform in the third quarter of 2021.

Dignitas NFT and digital playing cards will carry the Dignitas logo, rebranded earlier this year. According to a press release, the collectibles will serve "to commemorate players and seasonal events, to celebrate moments and rare privileges for Dignitas fans," and to offer "new and exciting ways to connect with your favorite players."

In addition, Zytara Labs and Dignitas will be collaborating on various social activations and Twitch giveaways. Note that Zytara Labs has already formed a number of NFT partnerships with celebrities and brands, including Floyd Mayweather, singer-songwriter Ozuna and Dole.

NFT Collections are the latest trend in esports monetization and fan acquisition strategies. So far this year, we've seen announcements from BLAST Premier, WePlay, G2 Esports, FLASHPOINT, Virtus.Pro, and Simplicity Esports.
