Excel Esports has partnered with Sony

British esports organization EXCEL ESPORTS has announced Sony as the official smartphone supplier for its Fortnite-centered business. The partnership agreement will focus on Wolfiez, a Fortnite developer from EXCEL, promoting the Sony Xperia smartphone brand through a series of content materials. The companies will also run a series of product sales.

While most professional gamers compete on PC, Fortnite is a multi-platform game that can also be played on mobile devices. According to a press release, the partnership will highlight the capabilities of Sony's smartphone lineup as an ideal gateway to mobile gaming.

Note that Excel has already entered into several partnerships in 2021, including fitness equipment company Eleiko, energy drink brand Beyond NRG and Chupa Chups.
