BLAST Premier Announces Partnership with Coinbase

The BLAST Premier esports league has announced cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase as its new sponsor for the upcoming spring competition season.

According to a press release, Coinbase will use the partnership to bring the world of eSports to cryptocurrency using the activation and content under the direction of the players.

As part of the deal, Coinbase branding will be featured during the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown from April 13-18, as well as at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals, which will take place from June 15-20.

The cryptocurrency platform, founded in 2012, will sponsor BLAST Premier's "The Economy Play" broadcast segment, in which analysts analyze and discuss rounds between matches. The Coinbase logo will also appear in the background of the content, as well as acquire in-game animated branding.

Coinbase is joining companies such as EPOS, Shikenso Analytics, and CS.MONEY as partners in the esports competition.
