WePlay Esports announces partnership with 1xBet

Media holding and eSports tournament organizer WePlay Esports have partnered with 1xBet, the deal is expected to enable 1xBet to support all tournaments hosted by WePlay Esports throughout 2021.

"For us, partnership with 1xBet is to move the industry forward and create new cases that will be useful to both the market and our audience," commented Valentin Shevchenko, Head of Business Development at WePlay Esports.

The first 1xBet tournament will be part of the first season of the WePlay Ultimate Fighting League (WUFL) featuring Mortal Kombat 11, SOULCALIBUR VI and Tekken 7 competitions.

1xBet becomes the latest company to partner with the League, joining services such as DAZN and GRID. As a reminder, WePlay Esports launched the WUFL in December 2020 in partnership with former world boxing champion Alexander Usik.
