BLAST Premier donates $ 12.5 thousand to SpecialEffect charity
BLAST Premier, organizer of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments, has announced a $ 12,500 donation to SpecialEffect, a UK-based charity that uses games and technology to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The funds for the donation came from fines levied on teams that broke the rules in recent championships, such as Vitality.
SpecialEffect treats each person with an individual approach to help them achieve a certain level of benefit. The organization also works closely with community members to help create or customize technology to better focus on individual capabilities.
