Gambit Esports signed a partnership agreement with AS Monaco

The management of Gambit Esports announced on Twitter that Gambit and the football club Monaco have become partners. This means that Dota 2 and Fortnite rosters will now play under a new tag - AS Monaco Gambit (ASM.GMB). As a reminder, this is not the first eSports deal outside the esports world. In 2018, MTS became the owners of Gambit Esports.

Recently, representatives of another football club have also signed contracts with representatives of eSports. Thus, FC Brugge signed the players of the MAESTRO CS: GO roster and expanded their esports division, which you can read about here.

Gambit Esports is a Russian esports club that was founded in 2013. The organization owns rosters in disciplines such as CS: GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Apex Legends and Fortnite. The most serious achievement of the club is the victory of the CS: GO team at PGL Krakow Major 2017 with a prize pool of $ 1,000,000. The main cash prize of the team was $ 500,000.
