Subnation acquires a stake in XTRA Gaming

The Subnation platform has acquired a stake in the North American Fortnite team XTRA Gaming. The exact amount of Subnation's equity capital acquired from XTRA Gaming has not been disclosed.

As a result, the company will advise and manage XTRA Gaming's partnerships, content initiatives, branding and merchandising with the aim of transforming it all into a premium brand.

According to the press release, Subnation will bring in XTRA Gaming creators, streamers and gamers to help accelerate the business. Moreover, the founder of Manny Vieyts join Subnation as director of eSports and competitive integration players.
