Astralis announces partnership with Universal Music Group

Danish esports organization Astralis has partnered with Universal Music Group for a new "music initiative". As part of the cooperation of the parties, Danish musician Mattis released the first joint song entitled "To The Stars", which is the motto of Astralis.

The partnership will also include a new project "Astralis feat.", In which the organization plans to work with a large number of musicians.

According to a press release, the initiative's goal is "to provide artists from different walks of life who share a passion for gaming with the opportunity to create and enjoy gaming."

This initiative may well have been inspired by the collaboration between Spotify and Worlds 2020. As a reminder, Spotify has hosted exclusive Worlds music playlists and podcasts in its app, highlighting the crossover between music and games/esports.
