Berlin International Gaming (BIG) signed an agreement with Die Bayerische

German esports organization Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has announced that it has partnered with German insurance group Die Bayerische. With the start of the 2021 season, Die Bayerische will become BIG's official insurance partner. In addition, the insurance group will become the main partner of the BIG team in the League of Legends discipline. The organization did not disclose financial details of the transaction.

Through its partnership with BIG, Die Bayerische aims to increase its credibility with a young target audience and create added value for the esports community. As part of the partnership, the insurance group and BIG intend to develop target group-focused esports products and services.

Joining forces with BIG, the partnership marks Die Bayerische's entry into the esports industry. The insurance company has been the main sponsor of the German football club TSV 1860 Munich since 2016.

The deal makes Die Bayerische the eighth partner of Berlin International Gaming, joining companies such as OMEN by HP, Corsair, Red Bull, Betway, SkinBaron, Backforce (Interstuhl) and Volvic.
