BLAST and VENN announce strategic partnership

The organizer of eSports tournaments BLAST has entered into a strategic partnership with the gaming and eSports media network VENN.

The media company will partner with BLAST to create, support, broadcast and sell programming at future events organized by BLAST. In addition, VENN will hold the rights to the BLAST Premier 2021 North American Qualifier. In this qualification, eight invited North American teams will compete to qualify for the 2021 BLAST Premier.

According to the press release, the strategic partnership is VENN's first major expansion into the esports market. The companies will use this collaboration to "expand their global presence and leadership in the professional esports industry."

Note that the first stage of cooperation will take place at BLAST Premier Global Final. VENN will be producing various segments of the championship from its Los Angeles studio. It is likely that VENN will support the BLAST championships with its broadcast network.
