MAD Lions enters into agreement with ESPAT

Spanish esports organization MAD Lions has signed a digital media rights agreement with the media company ESPAT to make multimedia assets for tournaments and other activities available on a single platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This agreement follows similar media protection deals with Hong Kong esports organization Talon Esports and Spanish esports organization Team Queso.

Founded in 2017, MAD Lions is featured in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. The organization was acquired by the Canadian company Overactive Media in 2019. Note that the main line-up of MAD Lions in the LEC was previously known as Splyce before being rebranded.

As a reminder, in June MAD Lions signed a partnership agreement with Spanish financial management services provider Imagin.
