G2 Esports signs an agreement with Seasonic

Berlin-based G2 Esports has announced a partnership with Taiwan-based power supply manufacturer Seasonic.

As a result of the partnership, which will officially begin in 2021, all G2 Esports esports teams will use Seasonic branded PSUs on their computers. This appears to be Seasonic's first esports partnership to date.

Terms and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, G2 said the two companies will work together "with a common vision to be the best in technology, quality and performance."

Seasonic has been in business for over 40 years and entered the gaming market early on as one of the first manufacturers of power supplies for personal computers. In 2005, the company became the first to receive 80 Plus certification, which means Seasonic PSUs reduce power consumption by 15-25% without costly and time-consuming rebuilding of the entire computer.
