German government will allow entry of some athletes

Representatives of the Union of the German eSports told that they could make an exception for some competitive players, who will need to enter the territory of Germany to participate via a LAN-tournaments. To do this, they will need to meet certain requirements.

In order to enter Germany, players must have valid esports visas or participate in official tournaments. Accompanying minors will also receive entry permits.

On October 14, entry to Germany was again restricted due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Only countries that have not recorded an increase in the incidence will receive relaxed requirements for entering this country. Representatives of other states where the number of cases is growing will have to provide the German authorities with very good reasons for entering this country.
