Streamers from Saudi Arabia have been banned by Blizzard for engaging in offensive behavior towards a Polish transgender commentator
Blizzard has made the decision to ban the streamers from Saudi Arabia with the nicknames Legendary and Alivelol from participating in the Overwatch World Cup 2023 tournament. This decision was prompted by their offensive behavior during a live stream towards a Polish transgender commentator who was simultaneously broadcasting the matches.
During their joint stream, Legendary and Alivelol were seen mocking and asking if it was "allowed for an 'animal'" to commentate on the matches. They also referred to the Polish commentator as a "pig." These instances of harassment took place directly during the match between Saudi Arabia and Poland.

Furthermore, Legendary has also been fired from the professional team Triple Esports, for which he has been playing since March of this year in the Overwatch Contenders league.
Blizzard has taken these actions to address the seriousness of the situation and to send a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated within the Overwatch community. They strive to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants and fans of the game.
