Counter Logic Gaming Leaves Fortnite

North American esports organization Counter Logic Gaming has disbanded its Fortnite roster and announced its retirement from the stage. In a statement, the club thanked the former players for their work, and also cited the mismatch of discipline with strategic goals as the reason for leaving.

Today we are announcing that we are leaving the competitive scene in Fortnite. We are very proud of our team and what they have achieved while working with us, but in the end we decided that the discipline did not match our strategic goals. With this decision, we release Ajerss, clarityG and Tocata from their contracts. They have been an incredible pleasure to work with and we know they will be helpful wherever we go. No matter what, they will always be part of the Counter Logic Gaming family.

The Counter Logic Gaming organization has been represented in Fortnite since 2018. During this time, the club has assembled several lineups that won FNCS: Season X - Week 4: North America West, Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 1 - Week 3: NA West, Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 4 - Week 3 under the tag: NA West, JBL Quantum Cup 2022 - North America and Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 5 - Heat 2: NA West, and also got into the top three at C2S6: FNCS - All-Star Showdown: Bullseye Bonanza - North America West, Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 4 - Grand Finals: NA West, Fortnite World Cup Finals - Solo and Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 8 - Grand Finals: North America West.

In total, the organization has earned $2,029,903 in Fortnite prize money, but most of it was won by psalm in the Fortnite World Cup Finals - Solo.
