Cloud9 said goodbye to Apex Legends roster
The North American esports organization Cloud9 has decided to say goodbye to its Apex Legends roster. This was told by now former players of the club. It is reported that Cloud9 can no longer support the division, which will leave the discipline.
First of all, I want to say how bad the situation is. I am 100% sure that without organizational problems we would be together. Cloud9's sponsorship has taken a hit and has had to drastically cut its 2023 budget due to savings. On top of that, EA doesn't support esports at the level they want, and that has affected him as well. It had nothing to do with Apex Legends and I know they believed in us to make something great, they just didn't have the resources to put together a roster.
Since we are all free agents now, we thought it would be in our best interest to seek offers. If we don't get new offers we'll end up playing together, but I'm sure we'll all get back on our feet in the future.

The former Cloud9 line-up was formed in May last year, having undergone only one change last summer. Together, the North American team won Knights Arena Carnage Cup #2 and Knights Arena Carnage Cup #3, and also made it to the top three at the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 - North America, SCARZ CUP - 2021, NSG: Summer Championship - Monthly July, Grayson Allen's Apex Invitational, Box Fight Championship - Apex Cup #10 and Super League Arena - January Split.
In addition, the team successfully performed within the Apex Legends Global Series, taking part in summer international competitions.
The team also continues to play at Apex Legends Global Series 2022-23: Split 1 Pro League - North America, where after seven rounds played, it takes 21st place. Probably, the team will finish the championship in the same form, and only then the players will think about their next steps.
