The International Esports Federation (IESF ) has announced a partnership with research and data analytics firm Nielsen. As part of the deal, the new partner will provide the IESF with data that will be collected at the upcoming 2022 World Esports Championships.

Boban Totovski, IESF General Secretary: "IESF is proud and excited to be working with Nielsen to provide cutting edge data analytics for the 2022 World Esports Championships. Nielsen is one of the world's most renowned data and market research companies. The company provides reports in media, commerce, and other areas, and its reports are highly regarded in a number of industries. Nielsen has previously worked with some of the big names in the esports world, including Fnatic, ESL, the Global Esports Federation, and Riot Games.

Mike Rugg, Chief Executive of Nielsen Southeast Asia: “At Nielsen, we have been evaluating major esports events around the world for over five years. We pride ourselves on our independent and robust methodology, which has benefited many major sponsorship buyers and sellers over the years. The 2022 World Esports Championships is another opportunity to share valuable and useful information, and we hope that by working with the IESF, we can contribute to the future development and expansion of esports around the world."

Note that IESF has recently entered into a partnership agreement with FitGMR. As part of the deal, the partner organizes events and seminars dedicated to the health and well-being of athletes.

The 2022 World Esports Championships will take place December 1-12 in Bali with a total prize pool of $100,000. Over 100 participating countries will compete against each other in various popular esports titles including CS:GO, PUBG, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Dota 2, among others.
