MIBR partners with Everyrealm to create a virtual esports arena
The Brazilian esports organization MIBR, owned by the American company Immortals Gaming Club, has announced a partnership with Everyrealm to create a virtual esports arena. The virtual MIBR Arena is expected to allow users to attend esports events and competitions in the metaverse.
Roberta Coelho, MIBR CEO: "We are confident that this opens up new opportunities for brands in terms of activations and interactions with people in the arena. In addition, for the IEM Rio Major 2022 broadcast with Gaules, we will test "VIP tickets" for purchase through Fanwise which will show how ticket sales can work on future events."
Безкоштовні дорогоцінні камені, а також щоденні, щотижневі та щомісячні бонуси!
Club representatives also added that musical events with a separate division of MIBR, as well as meetings with influential people and professionals of the organization, are also expected in the virtual arena.
The first event held at the arena will be the live broadcast of the playoffs of IEM Rio Major 2022, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro from November 10 to 13. Live streaming of the event on the Twitch channel of the influential streamer Gaules will be broadcast on the big screen, which is part of the virtual arena.
The virtual space was reportedly inspired by real-life arenas and is currently themed after the landscape of Rio de Janeiro. Avatars in the room will also have access to MIBR digital wearables provided by VR developer Ready Player Me.
