Tournament operator BLAST is organizing the Fortnite Championship Series Invitational 2022. The championship, which will take place from November 12 to 13 in the US city of Raleigh, will offer participants a total prize pool of $1,000,000. This tournament will be the first LAN event for a discipline of this level in the last three years.

The return of live Fortnite tournaments is a key moment for the FNCS community, and BLAST is very proud to be able to support this event. The opportunity to host such a highly anticipated event further strengthens our partnership with the competitive Fortnite team. This partnership between BLAST and Fortnite was built on a combination of top-notch technology, industry-leading manufacturing and esports expertise. We're thrilled that thousands of fans will be able to experience Fortnite in person again and can't wait to host an unforgettable two-day tournament in Raleigh, NC in November.

The announcement expands on the original partnership between BLAST and Fortnite signed in February of this year. The BLAST team has hosted all FNCS events for a year after hosting the FNCS All-Star Showdown and Grand Royale last year.
