ORDER merges with Royal Melbourne University of Technology
Australian esports organization ORDER has announced a partnership with the Royal Melbourne University of Technology. As part of the cooperation, the parties will work on the creation of the RMIT Futures Series, a university esports program in which the organization will host free tournaments in various disciplines.
Through the Royal Melbourne University of Technology Community Discord server, members can vote on disciplines featured in a future series. Options such as Rocket League, Fortnite, and Apex Legends are being considered. As soon as the disciplines are determined, the tournament series will begin on August 14 and will last until October 6.

Royal Melbourne University of Technology reportedly has an esports community of over 3,000 members. In addition to its specialized institutions and support programs, the university often competes with other institutions in the region.
Royal Melbourne University of Technology becomes ORDER's sixth partner, joining gaming brand Dell Alienware, gaming peripherals maker Logitech and Australian telecommunications company Optus. Most recently, the esports club joined forces with mental health organization The Man Cave. In addition, in February, the Australian organization entered into partnerships with the governments of Australia and Victoria
