Team Empire dropped Apex Legends roster

The Russian esports organization Team Empire has abandoned the Apex Legends roster. At the same time, the club announced the closure of its division, while the players will continue to stick together under the MajorPushers tag.

Team Empire signed one of the most successful Apex Legends rosters in the CIS in February this year. In six months, the team managed to win VERSUS - ARENA #11, Legionfarm Europe Tournament and Apex Legends Global Series: Split 2 Pro League - EMEA, as well as get into the top three at the end of Legionfarm North America Tournament, Apex Esports - Love Apex & Voka 2022 and VERSUS - ARENA #19, among others.

In addition, the team took part in the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 2 Playoffs, where they took eighth place. However, despite strong results in the EMEA region (Europe, CIS and Turkey), Team Empire failed to qualify for the Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship due to visa issues faced by the players. As a result, the team's place in the championship went to AYM Esports.

Players are expected to continue playing together under their former MajorPushers tag. It's unclear which tournament will be next for the team as the Apex Legends scene is going through an off-season.
