Apex Legends is preparing to release season 14, subtitled “Hunted”

Season 14 of Apex Legend begins August 9th. Below we will tell you what to expect from the upcoming update called "Hunted".

New Hero Vantage

The first, and perhaps most important, is the addition of a new character. In a short video, we are told about Siomare Contreras, Mara for short. She grew up on Pagos, an eternally icy planet, along with her mother, a specialist sniper, and from childhood she learned to survive in difficult conditions.

List of skills

• Tactical ability - summons his companion Echo by pressing a key. Pressing again will dash in its direction.

• Passive ability - After Mara looks at the enemy through the scope, all information about him is highlighted: the size of the team, the distance to the enemy, the state of the shield and its level, the amount of health.

• Ultimate Ability - Mara uses a unique sniper rifle that allows her to scan enemies and inflict additional damage on them. The squad will deal 15% more damage to the selected target, and Mara herself will double it after each successful hit.

She also has a personal pet, a little bat named ECHO. A funny story is connected with him: Mara writes a letter in which she asks permission to take a pet with her, referring to the Bloodhound and her crow.

Additional comment on the complaint: Bloodhound has a raven! For this reason, I once again ask you to reconsider your decision and allow Echo to take part in the battles with me. The Bloodhound pet is quite rude - he humiliates other legends, such as Pathfinder. Echo polite! Well, usually. I find it unnecessarily unfair to have him suspended for a single, completely unexpected attack on a human during a test outing. Echo, like all of us, was embarrassed by the thick eyebrows of one of the participants in the games! They looked like larvae. And Echo loves grubs (we can't blame him for that, they're just amazing). If you are waiting for me in the games, then Echo is coming with me.

Changing Canyon Kings

The landscape of the map has undergone some changes: Skull City has been moved back, and has become the extreme point of the location. Blocked many narrow passages in the center of the map and a tunnel from the river to the area near the Market. Removed the Hillside Outpost, and the upper levels of the Cage near the Hydro Dam. The old passage from the cave to the Market is blocked, and a new one has been added.

In addition, the Safari-themed Pursuit Battle Pass will be added. It will include over a hundred different awards. Upon completion of the tests, players will be waiting for premium sets for Fuse, Pathfinder, Mad Maggie, Newcastle, BloodHound. These will include unique skins, trinkets, graffiti, and new variable weapon skins.

Max Level Increases

The developers have already officially announced that the maximum level will be increased, but do not say by how much. Judging by the leaks of dataminers, emblems up to level 700 were found in the game files. The weapons had talismans and levels higher, so it is not yet possible to say exactly what level will be the maximum this season.
